WHO WE ARE
Engineering Design and Certifications is an established and respected Australian engineering consultancy based on the Gold Coast. We specialise in light gauge steel construction systems for residential and light commercial builders, fabricators and homeowners, and provide inspection and structural design compliance certifications.
OUR HISTORY
AS LIGHT GAUGE STEEL SPECIALISTS
Since our inception in 2013, we have been focused on light gauge steel designs, often as a sub-consultant to steel fabricators focused on prefabricated light gauge steel framing designs for residential homes, schools, child care and aged care facilities. In 2017, we moved the business from Perth in Western Australia to the Gold Coast in Queensland, and expanded our services to include work with residential builders for slab and footing designs, timber frame design and structural design of residential building extensions or renovations.
Our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, detailers, drafters and building professionals has a combined experience of 50+ years in the industry, led by Directors Ali Bataghva and Effie Fox who are both Chartered Professional Engineers, Registered in all states. Our head office is in Queensland and we continue to provide high levels of service to our clients nationally in metropolitan and rural and regional areas.
